About
Munaku Kaama Kisubi Co-operative society was founded by the youth Apostolate of Kisubi Catholic Parish under the guidance and mentorship of Caritas Kampala Archdiocese.
We started saving and by 27/07/2008 we had 30 members and registered at the District. The Sacco was launched by Rev. Fr. Edward Ssekalembe the then Parish Priest of Kisubi Parish.
The Sacco is registered under the laws of Uganda under Katabi Town Council Wakiso District, with a certificate from the District Commercial Office operating in the areas of Katabi and Kajjansi Town Councils. Munaku Kaama is proud of 5607 fully registered members, with Kireka and Nakawuka branches.

Annual General Meeting(AGM)
The General Assembly is the supreme authority of the SACCO.
Duties and Responsibilities of the AGM.
- Elects the Board, the Supervisory Board, and the Vetting Committee.
- Receives and considers reports from the Board and the Supervisory Committee, management, and vetting committee.
- Approves the External Auditor
- Approves the External Auditor
- Approves the SACCO maximum liability
- Receives and admits new members
Board Of Directors
The Board is the principal leadership/governance organ of the SACCO and directs the affairs of the SACCO on behalf of its general membership while overseeing the management and making strategic decisions of the SACCO. It is composed of a diverse group of 9 elected members and one co-opted member who have relevant experience and expertise in various fields.

Board Committees
The Board of Directors has four committees, comprised of Board members who are required to attend meetings of the respective committees on which they serve.
- Credit Committee
The Credit Committee supports the Board with setting the strategic direction for the SACCO’s lending operations. This committee oversees the lending and credit functions, and loan servicing operations of the SACCO.
- Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO)
ALCO serves as a planning unit in terms of resource allocation, and is responsible for aligning the SACCO’s entire portfolio. The Committee reviews the budget as proposed by Management and makes recommendations for the Board’s approval.
- Operations, Human Resource and Member Education committee
The Operations, Human Resource and Member Education Committee provides review, guidance, and oversight for SACCO overall operations.
- Audit and Risk Management Committee
